Yes, this is a scam and the Department of the Ministry of Education in Nigeria (Mr. Jerry Agada) is very interested in any one who recieves this e-mail. The NNS (Nigerian National Security) is currently looking into this scam as it is believed funds are being used to help radicals undermine the Nigerian government. If you recieve this e-mail from an individual that calls himself Baxland Reynolds, please contact federal authorities. Regards, Anthony Allbright

I got the same from a fake malaysian surgeon working at Madonna Hospital
Dr. Bahrin Shamsul is the name he uses
not very clever, refers to a travel agency Cubana... that sent me an email with the same IP as the one of the so called Dr. Bahrin
I can provide every details if it can help someone, he asked for a DER deposit of some 360 USD, crazy no? I'm afraid some might have payed for that...
Please let me know to whom I can give the documents in order to put an end on this.
cheers from Thailand

The top of the top is that I even didn't apply for an ESL Teaching position. I got an email with a very attractive proposition, high salary plus high benefits, to good to be true... They use a satellite provider for their Internet, so how to locate them?
Fortunately I don't believe in Santa for a while ;-)

same story with me: shamsul bahrin, surgeon at madona hospital in calabar. emailed an ESL teacher job offer too good to be true, for which i had not applied. cubana travel. phone calls. photos of children. contract with red seal=approved by nigerian immigration.
he found my email address on a russian website. i decided to check, got more suspicious when on "www.madonateachinghospital.gn.nu" (the site he gave as reference) the hospital where he was supposed to work changed name and town (to holy family in ikom), continued digging, found you. thanks
