I have just been involved in a scam this year initiated by this person using the email 'may_laide@yahoo.com' by the name of May Bishop. She wanted to purchase the camera I am selling and even initiated to use Paypal to do the transferring of funds. Below are all the emails from her as well as the fake 'Paypal'. Note the grammar and spelling mistakes, as well as the fake 'Paypal' email address. One of the emails was not even signed off properly.To protect my identity, I have edited certain parts of the emails. However, I will try my best to maintain the emails as they originally were.

By this time, I have already called Paypal via the hotline provided in their website. Paypal had confirmed with me that the emails were phishing emails. Furthermore, how can there by any involvement of the accounting department when the transferring of the funds are supposed to be automatic and immediate when using Paypal??!! Of course, I ignored all the scammers' emails, but May Bishop was a persistent scammer who was still flooding my email inbox when I have already told her that I am aware of her scam. Even if she was a real buyer, I did tell her to contact Paypal and report the phishing emails she was getting also. She didn't hid my advise and thus, I can confirm that she was involved in the scam also. By this time, the fake 'Paypal' did not send me any more emails.

I am really fortunate that I did not send any money to them via the Western Union transfer. My camera was so old that I did not bother to try to get the package back. It is not worth the effort and money to do so.
I am not here to malign anyone. I am merely reporting all that I have been through. All the emails are genuine and true. If you do want, I can forward them all to you also. So, whoever does have the same name as this scammer, I am not tarnishing your name and reputation. Thanks for your understanding.
