This application supports IUPAC characters.
If you select the "Clean Sequence" option, every number, space, tab, slash or non-relevant character will be stripped out of from the input sequence

  • Select Alphabet
    Clean and Randomize
    Just Randomize
    Number of randomization cycles
  • Select Alphabet (required if "clean" is selected)

  • Most used:
    unambiguous DNA: GATC
    Protein Letters: ACDEFGHIKLMNPQRSTVWY
    unambiguous RNA, allowed: GAUC

  • Other Alphabets:
    ambiguous DNA, allowed: GATCRYWSMKHBVDN
    ambiguous RNA, allowed: GAUCRYWSMKHBVDN
    Protein Letters: ACDEFGHIKLMNPQRSTVWY
    Protein, Extended: ACDEFGHIKLMNPQRSTVWYBXZ

  • Output options
    UPPER CASE
    lower case

    Optional: include numbering and line breaks every:
    nucleotides/residues (0=do not use this option)
