Ruby, I sent you an e-mail. In short, if you get the error with the test file it means that you are having a general problem with php in the folder you are using.
If the permssion of the folder is 777, try changing it to 755. Then try again with the test file. Reload if you visited recently.

Ruby,
- does your server supports php
- is php active in the directory you are using for the installation
Try do download this file, unzip, upload the the guestbook folder, visit in your browser. If you still have an error it means that you are having a general problem with php.
Also, make a private message with your URL install, I will have a look.

I've followed all the instructions to upload the files. Now I've tried to "configure the guestbook in the admin section" and once I logged in, I received a "500 internal server error".
Sorry to bother you, but what have I done wrong and how can I fix this?

Hi!
I'm wondering if I can make my guestbook just appear at the bottom of the pages of my website. I don't want my readers to have to go to a separate page.
I'm waiting for the email that will give me the download link and thought I'd just make this enquiry.

Luke, PHP might not be active on your server. I suggest you ask your host if PHP is active on your account.
