Hi, I'm having great success with the guestbook but I have a little problem. If someone gets the turing test wrong by accident, their IP is banned from posing again. How can you fix that?

Thanks for the fast response!

My add-on is where I registered a domain name and it is hosted on the same server acct as the main domain. When you type in the add -on name no www.subdomainname.mainname.com necessary. I just type the www.addondomainname.com.

Rich you are correct about the IP. If you don't want to ban any IP just put something like "jhvbkhj" in the IP field, the script will work fine.

On a subdomain you should have no particular issue, see this, go around, each page has comments managed through the WCS. The thing is, you have to make a dedicated install of the WCS in the subdomain folder for it to work fine, you cannot manage guestbooks on a subdomain from a WCS on the main domain. Not sure what you mean by add on.

ALain, this ought to be a local caching problem, the feature you describe is not included in the guestbook, there is no permament banning of IPs unless you include the IP in the banned list in administration manually.

Hello, Im having a few issues. I downloaded the free software. how do i get to the admin page to try to configure? Thank you so much for your help.

Excellent program. Integrates into an existing page easily. Love it. Well worth the $$$!! Searched for days for free scripts. It's not worth the search for what you can get for $20!
